that's tough, traci. My dd's language teacher had to quit because of her own health. One of my good friends interviewed for the job yesterday. We'll see.

DD's class was assigned her LA teacher from last year. She is very excited because Ms. H was wonderful and dd's writing improved so much last year. We are actually hoping that the 6th and 7th grade LA teachers are willing to give up one of their free periods to take over the 8th grade classes (with a pay compensation of course).
The IPS class has a new teacher beginning Monday with the exiting teacher staying on for a week to help her get acclimated to the curriculum (sp) and students.

It sounds like the teachers in your school have a lot going on and their decision to leave was probably a difficult one. I hope the school can replace them soon and that the students will not be affected negatively by the change.
