Someone asked this question in another thread:
I am not debating you since I can feel in my spirit that big things are going down as well, but how can you be certain, biblically speaking, that we are now officially entering the tribulation?
I got this b/c if you read in Rev 6:2 it says
I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, "Come!"

I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.
Now the Dispensatonal Interpresation in my bible's margin says
Dispensationalists view vs 1 as the beginning of the Great tribulation and the white horse rider (v 2) as a counterfeit christ (messiah) riding to win the world's adulation and submission.
Well, if you look at how folks are going ga-ga over Obama, calling him devine, sing songs about him, (I swear to you, there are folks singing praise songs to obama), folks setting up websites calling him the next Messiah, ready to sacrifice their babies to him, well, that means something. It looks like Jesus opened the first scroll or it's one incredible coincidence. Once the scrolls are opened, the tribulation begins.
There will be 5 more scrolls, then the trumpets, then the witnesses, etc, based on how you read rev. Lots and I mean lots and lots and lots of Christians are getting stuff from God that something is up and it's not the sun or the stars. So the only conclusion based on Rev 5 and Obama is it's tribulation time. What are you alls thoughts?

I know, it's scary, I heard one on youtube from a news report. They took the words 'Jesus' out and sang it to Obama, singing about peace.

People are talking about sacrificing their babies to Obama? Really??? How depraved can you get? I agree, I think this is proabably it.

LOL!! I'm exagerating the sacrifice part. Folks aren't wanting to sacrifice their children, but the way they go ga-ga over him, you'd think they'd be wanting to do it. sigh . . .

You know its pretty bad when that could even be taken seriously. It wouldn't have surprised me if it were true frankly.

Did anyone ever watch the last season of 'ANGEL' the spin off from Buffy. Boy, is that ever a shadow of where we are. Scary evil secret society bringing in a new order behind the scenes. messiah figure rises all of a sudden (female though) and the world go ga ga over her. In An Uncomfortably similar way to Obama. Just thought I'd say, because it's so the same and this with Obama feels like fiction.

It does feel surreal doesn't it? I never thought our country would go this glassy-eyed over any politician, even if he does look good and have a velvet tongue.

OMG i totally get that feeling when i see him !
Like we watched the debates in class and every kid in my classroom was practically chanting his name and Hoo and Hawin at him
Me on the other hand , It felt like i was gonna get sick i have never felt such a bad feeling .
Do you guys truly think this is it ? that we are in the great tribulation

I may be wrong, but I see Obama and Brown contributing to the creation of a One World philosophy, but I see the Anti-Christ coming from the middle-east. It has to be someone that both Israel and the Arabs trust.

I maybe wrong too, and maybe Obama is anti-Christ, I ain't crossing him off my list, but maybe he is one of the ten kings that give over their power to him at his arrival. The most powerful king of the ten maybe.
Just trying to think out other possibilities.
