September 11 Attacks a "Big Lie"

quote:

TEHRAN, Iran - Iran's hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday called the official version of the Sept. 11 attacks a "big lie" used by the U.S. as an excuse for the war on terror, state media reported.

Ahmadinejad's comments, made during an address to Intelligence Ministry staff, come amid escalating tensions between the West and Tehran over its disputed nuclear program. They show that Iran has no intention of toning itself down even with tighter sanctions looming because of its refusal to halt uranium enrichment.

"September 11 was a big lie and a pretext for the war on terror and a prelude to invading Afghanistan," Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying by state TV. He called the attacks a "complicated intelligence scenario and act."

Ahmadinejad is at it again...now claiming the 9/11 attacks were orchestrated by American intelligence.

I'm not sure, but maybe I should have put this in the 9/11 conspiracy folder

If he'd never denied there had been a holocaust, I might wonder if he knows something we don't know. But since he makes up his own history as he goes along...

Ahmadinejad is nothing more than a useful idiot for the Mullahs who really hold the reins of power in Iran. They only reason he is still in power today is because his opponent in the last election would have been harder to control, so they rigged the results.

He gets entirely way too much coverage in the press here in the USA. But since conservatives like to have something to be afraid of, I guess he's as good a target as any.

Well, his fellow Truthers here in the States are wondering if the recent spate of attacks, including the underpants bomber and the guy police shot dead the other day near the Pentagon, were set-ups (or fit-ups as we say in the UK) by the government to instill the public with even more fear of extremists.

You know, sometimes I might shake my head at some of the oddball views express on this forum, but I only have to dip into a site like the one I linked to realize that it could be a whole lot worse!!
